Sparks Spirit Hunters traveled to Philadelphia. On June 23, 2010 we investigated Eastern State Penitentiary. This is an amazing building! It is strangely beautiful and it's just a great place to see.
We spent some time in the prison taking the daytime tours. I highly recommend doing this if you plan to investigate here at night. Taking the daytime tours first, helps you get the lay of the land of this huge old prison. Plus you get to learn a lot of the history of this great land mark which will help during your investigation.
Unfortunately we were only able to get four hours inside the prison at night to investigate. We usually spend a lot longer in a building of this size. Even though our time was limited we still enjoyed the time we had there!

On one of our stationary recorders we picked up a growl. This growl can be heard 3 times, each time a little bit softer and farther away. When the third one was recorded the growl is so soft it can barely be heard. One of our DVR cameras was set up nearby.(see photo on left.) Because of this we are able to see that their are no people or animals nearby when these growls were recorded. The first growl was recorded almost 57 minutes into the recording at 11:45 pm. It can be heard 6 seconds into the clip below. The second was captured 48 minutes later at 12:38 am. It can be heard 4 seconds into the second clip below. The third occurrence was two and a half minutes after the second at about 12:40 am. It can be heard 4 seconds into the third clip below but it is very faint and difficult to hear.
